  • For the well-being of this world, the existence of peace, justice and fairness is inevitable. There are various kinds of living beings in this world.
  • However, the animal called human is endowed with a language, good knowledge, the ability to understand many things and the ability to handle language more than other animals. It will be the responsibility of the human being to work for the well-being of our mother world.
  • To fulfill that responsibility, we unite under the banner of Global United for Peace and Justice, for the protection of the rights of other living beings including humans and for world peace.

In today’s world, where the call for global unity, justice, and inspired leadership grows stronger every day, H.E. Hajiani AMB Dr. Seyed Firdawoosbee Hanifdeen stands as a symbol of unwavering dedication, compassion, and progress. A proud Sri Lankan, she is internationally recognized as a humanitarian, peace advocate, and seasoned diplomat who has dedicated her life to the service of humanity.

Dr. Hanifdeen is the visionary Founder and President of two powerful global platforms: Global United for Peace and Justice and the Global United Women’s Council. Her lifetime of service began long before her current titles. With over 50 years of experience in social service, Dr. Hanifdeen’s work has impacted generations. Her compassion, activism, and leadership have made her a pillar of hope in communities both locally and globally.

Her commitment to organized peacebuilding was formalized with the founding of Global United for Peace and Justice on February 12, 2023, following a preparatory meeting on February 11. From the beginning, Global United for Peace and Justice has pursued a bold and inclusive mission: uniting diverse individuals and organizations to promote peace, justice, human rights, and dignity. Under Dr. Hanifdeen’s dynamic leadership, the movement has grown into a global network of diplomats, educators, activists, and community leaders who share a common vision of a more compassionate and fair world.

Her extraordinary work has earned her widespread recognition. She has received numerous prestigious awards from institutions across various countries for her contributions to peace, human rights, and humanitarian development. In recognition of her immense global impact, she has been awarded more than twelve honorary doctorates, a rare and distinguished honor.

Her academic journey began at the University of Colombo, where she built the strong educational foundation that continues to support her international efforts.

Through her work with both Global United for Peace and Justice and the Global United Women’s Council, she tirelessly advocates for the empowerment of women, youth, and marginalized groups. She creates meaningful platforms for dialogue, cooperation, and grassroots action—driven by empathy, equality, and long-term change.

Her work has drawn praise from world leaders. In a significant moment of international recognition, the Secretary-General of the United Nations personally conveyed a message of appreciation, commending Dr. Hanifdeen for her lifelong service and contributions to the cause of peace.

Today, with unmatched experience, cultural wisdom, and a legacy of service spanning over five decades, H.E. Hajiani AMB Dr. Seyed Firdawoosbee Hanifdeen continues to lead with both heart and strategy. Her vision and actions inspire hope, uplift communities, and pave the way for a future built on unity, justice, and lasting peace.
